BACKGROUND

As a leader in consumer goods, Electrolux Port of Brisbane needed an updated and expanded logistics centre to service the south east Queensland market.

The new facility for Electrolux Australia at the Port of Brisbane’s Port West industrial estate in Lytton was delivered by principal contractor McNab. Construction of this purpose-built distribution centre and showroom was expected to start by the end of 2023, with completion by October 2024.  The ventilation contractor was NRG Services and it was a privilege to supply an extensive array of ventilation products to this project.  Some of these roof mounted exhaust fans are visible in the video on this page.

It’s worth noting that this facility is designed to achieve a 6-Star Green-Star rating, aligning with both Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) and Electrolux Group’s sustainability objectives.
