This makes the IM-B range capable of generating the strength and air flow of a centrifugal fan with the compact size of an axial fan, as well as the ability to find an effective compromise between static pressure and flow rate. This ensures the usefulness of the IM-B range to a wide variety of applications. As an in-line fan, the IM-B range is constructed for easy duct installation and is capable of generating effective ventilation at a low power.
The fan is powered by an efficient rotor-motor with an IP44 rating. This means the motor is protected from objects and parts greater than 1mm, and splash water. Each motor is single phase and has two motor poles, therefore generating a large RPM and low torque.
This in-line mixed flow fan is offered in six different sizes, ranging from a 100mm to a 315mm diameter. This offers a wide variety of choice regarding the desired flow rate and air pressure, therefore ensuring this range is capable of servicing a number of needs. Further, the range of diameters establishes the fan can be installed in any size of ducting with ease.
The polypropylene casing provides a strong, durable protection from the unwanted ingress of dirt and water and insulates the body of the fan.
