The DA-Q range are roof mounted horizontal discharge axial supply fans, designed to ventilate environments that require the removal and replacement of polluted or unsatisfactory air. As a horizontal discharge axial fan, the DA-Q range is able to cater to lower pressures with the benefit of smaller, lighter, more cost-effective unit.
The DA-Q range incorporates high-efficiency, corrosion resistant motor-rotor impellers in single or three phase. The impellers are formed from fibreglass reinforced polypropylene, while the body is constructed from either fibreglass or corrosion resistant steel. The impellers are formed from aluminium alloy, while the body is constructed from a hail-proof polymer. It is therefore well-suited to environments such as building ventilation, and the supply and exhaust of air in industrial contexts.

Roof mounted axial supply fans are crucial to a number of environments, removing industrial fumes and supplying a suitable air flow to maintain a comfortable air pressure. In comparison to centrifugal roof mounted fans, axial fans produce a larger amount of noise pollution, and are therefore better suited to industrial environments such as factories rather than domestic contexts such as bathrooms and small kitchens.
The durable, high efficiency, aluminium alloy impellers are driven by an external rotor motor with an IP54 rating, meaning the motors are capable of protecting against dust and splash water. This allows them to be feasibly used in industrial settings without worry of ingress.
There is one model available in the DA-Q range, which has a 150mm diameter, and a 4 pole and three phase motor. Further specifications can be found in the relevant datasheets.
These roof mounted axial fans are enclosed in a durable, UV stabilised, hail proof polymer case. This ensures protection from the unwanted ingress of dust and water. UV stabilisation and hail proofing further ensure resistance to weather, which is of particular importance in the context of roof mounted fans which are exposed to external environments.
