SWSI-22.25 Range – Single Width Single Inlet Centrifugal Fans

Centrifugal fans are uniquely capable of producing high static pressures while simultaneously producing high flow rates. This makes them integral to settings which require high pressures and a powerful airflow to extract unwanted substances such as dust and dirt. To ensure that the 22.25 range is applicable to a number of situations, there a number of choices offered regarding motor size, clockwise or anti-clockwise configuration, and vertical or horizontal discharge.
Backward curved impellers improve the efficiency of the fan, allowing the production of higher static pressures. These impellers are powered by an external three phase motor, which is therefore able to provide much more power than a single-phase motor. This motor is also a two-pole motor and is therefore able to provide a large RPM and simultaneously low torque.
The fan includes a drive guard cover, providing additional protection to the system and ensuring longevity. The fan also incorporates a motor slide rails, which allow for the belt tension to be adjusted such that it aligns with the motor. If the drive is not adjusted correctly, the system can become stressed or loose and sustain damage, and therefore motor slide rails allow a convenient mechanism to prevent this issue from arising.
Constructing the fan body from powder coated steel provides a durable and corrosion resistant casing further protects from the unwanted ingress of dust and water and contributing to the sustainability of the fan.
